Vaccinations are an important part of preventative medicine. We administer vaccines based on the needs of your pet; often this may include vaccinations against lyme disease for dogs or feline leukemia for cats. In addition to yearly vaccinations we recommend annual testing for heartworm, lyme, and parasites in all of our canine patients.

Puppies and kittens will often need many boosters of different vaccinations in order to achieve adequate protection against disease. This can seem overwhelming to a new owner at first. We encourage any questions about the health of your puppy or kitten and will provide as much information as possible at your initial exam.

Testing for feline leukemia and FIV are available and recommended for any kitten or cat that has not been previously tested. Our team can also offer tips on housetraining and direct you to local puppy classes if needed.
